Scholarships
Singerman Missions Scholarship Criteria
This scholarship is named after Jeff & Barb Singerman who have been International Board Missionaries (IMB) who have served in Africa for over 25 years. It is the Association’s hope that this will encourage more of our members to serve on missions teams and be used by the Lord to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is a $250.00 scholarship. You can only apply for this scholarship once every three years. There are four scholarships offered each year, the deadline for which is in the Spring.
Steve Risner Memorial Scholarship Criteria
This scholarship fund was established in memory of Steve Risner, an active and faithful member of First Baptist Church of Fairborn and its youth group, who was tragically killed in August 1978 while working at a service station in Xenia, Ohio. It is awarded to a Greater Dayton Association of Baptists student who is interested in preparing for full-time church or missionary service. This is a $2,500.00 scholarship that is awarded once annually for use in upcoming academic year beginning with the Fall term. Applications must be turned in by the 1st of February each year.
